Some of the awards and distinctions he has received include a Telly Award for a documentary, Communicators Award for a documentary, Videographers Award for an Educational Video, Crystal Reel Award for a documentary in 1998 and 2000, and “Best of '' at the Smokey Mountain/Nantahala Film and Media Festival. Also, in 1997 the International Television Association recognized Mr. Daudt for “Excellence in Education”. |

His professional affiliations include; Florida Motion Picture and Television Association, International Documentary Association (listed in the Millenium addition of the IDA “Survival Guide”), The Independent Film and Video Association, and in 2000 he was appointed a member of the Board of Advisors for the American Guild of Court Videographers.
